Sleep in Neurodiversity
Sleep in Neurodiversity
Lucy has spent many years working with the Neurodiverse community. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) 32 to 71.5% (Al Lihabi, 2023) have issues with their sleep. This can be attributed to many reasons including sensory overload, circadian rhythm disruption and difficulties in “switching off”. In my Sleep Clinic I am able to analyse the assessment and then we can work together to create a sleep programme which isn’t too overwhelming and will cause as little sensory disruption as possible. With any Neurodiverse intervention steps need to be taken more slowly and cautiously and Lucy’s expertise will help you to go at a pace that works for you. Please refer to my Sleep Clinic for more information on the process.
